from a UX hiring side: when I look at a business analyst resume, I’m scanning for problem solving, not just numbers. If you worked with product, design, or stakeholders, show that. “translated business requirements into wireframes” or “worked with devs to clarify specs” actually matters.
one thing people forget: put your industry in there. Finance BA ≠ SaaS BA ≠ healthcare BA. Your business analyst resume should scream the environment you worked in. Even small details like “HIPAA” or “subscription churn” help a lot.
jumping in as someone who interviews BAs — I’d rather see 5 strong bullets with metrics than 20 generic ones. If your business analyst resume says “analyzed data” five times, you’re wasting space. Show me what changed because of your analysis.
