Thanks everyone for the thoughtful replies! I'm leaning toward trying CraftResumes based on the positive experiences here. @Counconect I'll also post my current resume in the feedback thread to get community input before investing. Really appreciate all the perspectives on best professional resume writers!

hey @JobHunter2025 loving this poll! i voted for craftresumes cause they were the only ones that didn't make my resume sound like a robot. paid about 160 bucks last month for their mid package and honestly, the writer asked so many questions about my experience that i ended up remembering stuff i forgot to include. got my first interview callback in weeks after using it. anyone else notice how they handle ats stuff better than the cheap ones?

@CodeNinja23 yeah ats is key! i didn't vote yet but leaning towards resumewritinglab.com - they have this thing where they optimize for specific job postings. i was unemployed after bootcamp for 3 months, hired them, and boom 2 interviews in a week. not the cheapest but way better than wasting time on fiverr disasters. poll results looking interesting so far, craftresumes leading?

Quick note on the poll - seeing a lot of love for established services. @BootcampSurvivor spot on about job-specific optimization. In my experience reviewing hundreds of resumes, the best professional resume writers don't just write - they strategize. If you're voting other, share why! For me, Resume Writing Lab edges out because of their industry matching - got paired with someone who knew my field inside out.

still think this poll is biased towards paid stuff lol. voted "none - diy all the way" but if i had to pick a professional resume writer service, maybe craftresumes? heard mixed things tho. my buddy used one and it was basic af, no real changes just fancier words. why pay when linkedin has free templates that work fine? curious what the final poll numbers will be

@8Rookie Templates are great starters, but as a recruiter I can spot them a mile away. Voted for resumewritinglab.com in the poll because they helped me not just with the resume but explaining WHY certain changes matter. Like turning "handled customer complaints" into something with metrics that shows impact. If you're in a competitive field, that pro touch can be the difference between getting noticed or not.

Jumping back in - voted for craftresumes.co after my positive switch. But @Diane J. Hurt makes a good point about metrics. Whoever you choose as best professional resume writer, make sure they focus on results not just duties. Poll's showing a clear winner so far, but would love more votes from tech folks!
